A's-Tigers game suspended Sunday (May 19)

The A's and Tigers game at Comerica Park on Sunday (May 19) was suspended in the bottom of the seventh inning due to rain. Oakland's Stephen Piscotty hit a go-ahead, two-run double into the gap in right-center field to break a 3-3 tie in the top of the seventh just ahead of the storm, which caused a delay of 1 hour, 41 minutes before officials decided not to wait out the rain.

The game will be resumed in the bottom of the seventh on Sept. 6 in Oakland, prior to the start of a three-game series between the A’s and Tigers at the Oakland Coliseum.
