Netflix’s broadcast of MLB Opening Night just added a whole lot of star power.

Barry Bonds will join Netflix’s broadcast team as an analyst on the pregame and postgame desk for Wednesday’s showdown between the Yankees and Giants. First pitch of the 2026 season is set for 8:05 p.m. ET on March 25 at Oracle Park.

Bonds will appear on the desk alongside Albert Pujols, Anthony Rizzo and host Elle Duncan.

Major League Baseball’s all-time home run leader spent 15 seasons in the Bay Area, from 1993-2007. Bonds won five of his seven MVP Awards and hit 586 of his record 762 home runs with the Giants.

Opening Night will also be Netflix’s first regular-season MLB broadcast, as a part of a three-year media rights agreement reached with the league in November.

Matt Vasgersian will handle play-by-play duties for Wednesday’s season-opener, with CC Sabathia and Hunter Pence joining Vasgersian in the booth.
