Injury: Concussion
IL date: Aug. 15 (7-day concussion IL)
Expected return: Aug. 22

Injury: Morton's neuroma (right foot)

Expected return: Aug. 21

Injury: Right hamstring tightness
Expected return: Day to day
Status: Exited in the fifth inning of the team's Aug. 19 game versus Tampa Bay. Appeared to grab at his right hamstring after grounding out in the third inning. Underwent an MRI after the game and could be available off of the bench on Aug. 20. (updated: Aug. 20)

Injury: Right forearm tendinitis

Expected return: Potentially by end of season

LHP Joe Mantiply
Injury: Left knee inflammation
IL date: May 19 (15-day IL, retroactive to May 18)
Expected return: September
Status: Threw a scoreless inning for Single-A Dunedin on Aug. 19 in his first game action in more than three months. Team will soon move his rehab assignment to Triple-A Buffalo, and he will throw in a couple more games there. (updated: Aug. 20)

Injury: Left meniscus surgery

Expected return: Potentially by end of season

RHP Jake Bloss
Injury: Teres major strain
IL date: Aug. 12 (60-day IL)
Expected return: Ready for 2027 season
Status: In a move to protect 40-man roster depth, Bloss was added to the Major League roster on Aug. 12 to allow for him to be placed on the 60-day IL. There has not been a setback or change in his status. (updated: Aug. 12)

Injury: Right quad strain

Expected return: Potentially mid-September
Status: Will be down for "a couple of weeks" with quad injury. (updated Aug. 10)
RHP Yimi García
Injury: Thoracic outlet syndrome
IL date: March 25 (60-day IL, retroactive to March 22)
Expected return: 2027
Status: Had been shut down indefinitely after experiencing neck nerve issues during a rehab outing with Single-A Dunedin on July 25 and was diagnosed with thoracic outlet syndrome. No decision had been made regarding surgery, though that should be determined in the coming days. (updated: Aug. 7)

Expected return: August
