Braves-Phillies postponed; split twin bill Thursday
PHILADELPHIA -- The Braves-Phillies game scheduled for Wednesday night at Citizens Bank Park was postponed due to inclement weather. The game will be made up as part of a split doubleheader on Thursday.
First pitch for Game 1 is scheduled for 1:05 p.m. ET, while Game 2 will be played at the originally scheduled 6:45 p.m.

For the Phillies, left-hander Cristopher Sánchez will start the opening game of the doubleheader, followed by Zack Wheeler in the nightcap. The Braves will start AJ Smith-Shawver in Game 1, and lefty Chris Sale will take the mound for Game 2, setting up a showdown between last year's NL Cy Young Award winner (Sale) and runner-up (Wheeler).
