Crew-Bucs PPD due to rain; split DH on Sat.

PITTSBURGH -- The series opener between the Pirates and the Brewers at PNC Park set to be played on Friday evening was postponed due to inclement weather.

A split seven-inning doubleheader will be played on Saturday, with Game 1 slated for 2:30 p.m. ET and Game 2 expected to begin at 7 p.m. ET.

The Pirates will send Bryse Wilson to the mound in Game 1 against the Crew’s Brett Anderson, while Mitch Keller -- Friday’s probable -- will start Game 2 opposite Aaron Ashby.

Per the Pirates, tickets for Friday’s game will be valid for Game 1 of Saturday’s doubleheader or they can be exchanged for any remaining home game in 2021 (subject to availability). Visit pirates.com/raincheck for more information.
