BALTIMORE -- Orioles right-hander Chris Tillman threw a session on flat ground on Thursday and remains on track to pitch Saturday's game.
Tillman, Baltimore's Opening Day starter, was scratched from Wednesday's scheduled start with discomfort in his shoulder, and the O's have been cautious, as they want to keep him healthy in the regular season's final month and a half.
In other injury news, manager Buck Showalter said on Thursday that Dylan Bundy, who turned his right ankle during Wednesday's start, was feeling OK on Thursday afternoon. As for reliever Darren O'Day, who is on the disabled list with an injured right rotator cuff, he is "inching along," said Showalter.
The Orioles could make a roster move very soon, as catcher Matt Wieters is set to go on the paternity list, perhaps as early as Saturday.
