CHICAGO – David Hamilton turned a routine single into absolute chaos on Wednesday night at Wrigley Field.

The Brewers' speedster lined a base hit to center field in the second inning, but Cubs center fielder Pete Crow-Armstrong misplayed the ball as it rolled all the way to the wall. Hamilton never stopped running, circling the bases for a Little League home run as three runs scored on the play to give Milwaukee an early 3-0 lead.

It marked the second straight day Crow-Armstrong was charged with a costly misplay in center. Hamilton, meanwhile, needed just 5.04 seconds to get down the line to first base and 10.03 seconds total to come all the way around and score.

The moment perfectly summed up a brutal start for the Cubs and an aggressive one for the Brewers, who entered the afternoon looking to complete a sweep at Wrigley.
