PHOENIX -- Right fielder Yasiel Puig added another highlight clip to his Gold Glove campaign during the Dodgers' 6-3 loss to the D-backs on Tuesday night when he robbed the D-backs' J.D. Martinez of a would-be game-tying home run in the sixth inning of their game at Chase Field.
Puig perfectly timed his leap and reached well above the top of the fence to pull back Martinez's drive off reliever Pedro Báez for the second out of the inning, preserving a 3-2 Dodgers lead.
Puig, who has one error this year, has never won a Gold Glove Award.
