Dodgers infielder Edwin Ríos is day to day after leaving Sunday’s 8-3 win over the Angels in Anaheim with a tight left hamstring.

Ríos was injured sliding into second base on a second-inning double. The injury was compounded when Ríos convinced manager Dave Roberts he could stay in the game, because Ríos’ inability to score from second on Matt Beaty’s single cost the Dodgers a run.

“We don’t know if it’s a cramp because of the slide or a slight kind of strain,” Roberts said. “He feels better now.”

Ríos was starting in place of third baseman Justin Turner, who had the game off. Max Muncy, who started the game at second, moved to third while Enrique Hernández took over at second.
