Late-night host Jimmy Fallon releasing 2 baseball children's books

It's never too early to get someone into baseball. Late-night TV host and best-selling author Jimmy Fallon is doing what he can with two new books that are aimed at the youngest potential fans.

Fallon has partnered with Major League Baseball to author "Your Baby's First Word Will Be Dodgers" and "Your Baby's First Word Will Be Yankees."

The board books, which will be published by Macmillan's Feiwel and Friends imprint, will be released on Feb. 2, 2027, and will be available wherever books are sold. They are currently available for preorder.

These books feature cute, emotive farm animals, drawn by illustrator Miguel Ordóñez, saying the name of a beloved franchise. It's a great way to start getting the tiniest tykes into the national pastime.

“Parents spend months trying to get their baby's first word to be 'Mama' or 'Dada'," Fallon said in a release. "This book is for parents with bigger dreams.”
