Orioles second baseman Jonathan Villar helped minimize the damage during a sixth-inning A's rally in Monday's series opener at Oriole Park, laying out to rob Marcus Semien of a hit with a remarkable snare behind the second-base bag.

Semien's sharp grounder took an awkward carom off the mound, past starting pitcher Andrew Cashner, and was handled seamlessly by Villar, who flipped to Richie Martin for the first out of the inning. Baltimore led, 6-3, at the time.
