The Brewers are hosting their Parade of Champions on Friday to celebrate the first World Series victory in franchise history. Judging by the way Brewers fans traveled to pack Tropicana Field -- and still filled their home park for a watch party -- it’s going to be quite a celebration.

To plan accordingly for the festivities, Milwaukee Public Schools has announced that all schools and district offices will be closed Friday. The announcement appears on the official MPS website with a “Congrats World Champs” message attached to it.

MPS specified that schools will be closed "due to operations and safety impacts from the Brewers parade and celebration."

The parade is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. CT at N. 4th Street and W. Wisconsin Avenue. A rally and fan festival will follow at Henry Maier Festival Park. Both events are free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.

Fans who can't make it in person can still catch the parade on MLB Network, MLB+, MLB.TV and Brewers.TV, and streaming live free on Brewers.com.
