WEST SACRAMENTO -- Mookie Betts was scratched from the Dodgers' lineup for Wednesday night's series finale against the A's at Sutter Health Park. The starting shortstop is dealing with right wrist soreness, according to the team, and was held out as a precaution.

With Betts out, Miguel Rojas filled in at shortstop, and Max Muncy moved up to the cleanup spot.

Betts has been resurgent at the plate lately, hitting 25-for-67 (.373) with a 1.065 OPS in his last 16 games. In that span, he's raised his season OPS from .591 to .744, helping him move past another slow start to begin the year.

Rojas started at shortstop for the 13th time this season. Most of the previous instances came when Betts was sidelined with a right oblique strain in April and early May.
