Players of the Week
Player – INF Arquimedes Gamboa, Reading… Gamboa, 21, posted a .391/.462/.652 slash line, going 9-for-23 with two doubles, two triples, three RBI, three walks and three stolen bases in six games. He is batting .355 (11-31) over his last nine games, including five multi-hit efforts in that span. A native of Venezuela, he was signed by the Phillies as an amateur free agent in July 2014.
_Pitcher _– RHP Kyle Glogoski, Lakewood… The 20-year-old recorded 15 strikeouts over two games (8.0 IP), including one start.
