Claudio called up; Rangers send down Klein

SEATTLE -- The Rangers have called up left-handed reliever Alex Claudio from Triple-A Round Rock and sent down right-hander Phil Klein.
Texas is still going with an eight-man bullpen.
Claudio had pitched two scoreless innings at Round Rock in his only appearance. He had a 2.87 ERA in 18 appearances with the Rangers last season. Klein, who is expected to start at Round Rock, had retired all nine batters he faced in two games with Texas.
