Nats, Reds to play split doubleheader today

WASHINGTON -- Friday's game between the Nationals and Reds was postponed due to inclement weather. It has been rescheduled for Saturday at 1:05 p.m. ET as part of a split doubleheader.
All tickets for Friday's game will be honored for the rescheduled game at 1:05 p.m. ET. Or tickets can be exchanged, before the start of the rescheduled game, for any other 2018 regular-season game.
Left-hander Gio González will start the first game of the doubleheader against right-hander Anthony DeSclafani. Jeremy Hellickson will take the ball in Game 2 against Matt Harvey, with first pitch at 7:05 p.m. ET
This will open up a tough stretch for the Nationals, where they will play two doubleheaders in the span of four days on Saturday and another doubleheader scheduled for Tuesday against the Braves. Washington hopes the tough schedule will not stifle its recent hot streak, as the Nats have won three in a row and six of their past eight games.
