In the event a regulation game, as defined by Major League Baseball, is not played due to weather or any other reason, the ticket will constitute a rain check that can be either: (a) used for admission to the rescheduled game, if any, subject to certain doubleheader limitations; or (b) the paid value of your tickets to a postponed or cancelled game can be redeemed for tickets to a future 2017 regular season game, subject to blackout dates and availability. Under no circumstances will a refund be given.
If attending the announced make-up game, the original ticket will need to be used to gain entry to Nationals Park. Please retain this ticket as it must be used for admittance if attending the rescheduled game. The Nationals are not responsible for lost or stolen tickets. Season Plan Holders choosing to use their rain check ticket for a different 2017 regular season game must visit nationals.com/exchange for processing. Single game ticket holders choosing to use their rain check ticket for a different 2017 regular season game must bring their ticket from the cancelled game to the Nationals Park Box Office for processing. Rain check requests cannot be mailed in or be handled over the phone.
Any rain check exchanges must occur before the makeup date for the rescheduled game. Under no circumstances will a refund be given.
Community Tickets: Tickets distributed through any community initiatives (marked CHARITY) are valid for the announced make-up game only and cannot be rain checked for a future 2017 regular season game. The original ticket can only be used for entry to the announced make-up game.
Complimentary Tickets (including Player and Employee tickets): Complimentary tickets or equivalent tickets will be cancelled and are not valid for the make-up game and may not be rain checked for any other 2017 regular season game.
Group Tickets: Group Tickets are subject to the same policies as described above, subject to availability. If catering or hospitality was ordered or included as part of the group outing, please have your Group Leader contact your Nationals ticket sales representative regarding specific policies concerning hospitality.
Luxury Suites and Party Suites: Tickets in these areas may only be used for the rescheduled game. For any questions or inquiries, please contact your group leader or Nationals representative for more information.
Hospitality Areas (CF Social, Home Plate Tailgate, Birthday Parties, Family Picnic Area): Tickets in hospitality areas may not be rain checked individually. The group leader must contact your Nationals ticket representative if you wish to inquire about tickets in these areas for a game other than the rescheduled game.
StubHub/Secondary Market Ticket Purchases: For tickets purchased via StubHub or another reseller, please refer to the help section of the site from which you purchased your tickets for details pertaining to postponed, rescheduled or cancelled events. The Nationals are not responsible for and will not provide any refunds or exchanges of any ticket purchased via StubHub or any other secondary market reseller. Any questions regarding tickets purchased via StubHub for a postponed, rescheduled or cancelled event should be directed to StubHub Customer Service at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Promotional Items: If a game featuring a scheduled promotional giveaway is postponed due to inclement weather before gates open, the promotional item will be distributed on the rescheduled date. Otherwise, the item will be distributed until the game is postponed or while supplies last, whichever comes first. Any remaining items will be distributed at the rescheduled game.
Season Plan Holders
Season Plan Holders may attend the rescheduled game by using their originally issued seats or Season Plan Holder Card. If you sent seats to a friend via your online Access Account, simply encourage them to keep those tickets and bring them to the rescheduled game for entry.
Exchange via nationals.com/exchange
Season Plan Holders may exchange their postponed tickets for any game during the 2017 regular season. This exchange request must be submitted prior to the start of the rescheduled game.
Exchange at Box Office
Season Plan Holders may exchange valid printed tickets at the Nationals Park Box Office (tickets on Season Plan Holder Cards cannot be exchanged at the windows). Tickets exchanged in person at the Nationals Park Box Office for a date other than the rescheduled game are subject to current gate pricing and are not eligible to receive the Season Plan Holder ticket rate.
Individual game ticket holders may attend the rescheduled game by using their originally issued tickets. In the event an individual ticket holder cannot attend the rescheduled game, they may exchange their tickets only at the Nationals Park Box Office, during regular business hours for any other 2017 home game, subject to current gate pricing and availability of the game of their choice.
On gamedays, the Nationals Park Box Office is open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. until 30 minutes after the end of the game, and Sunday from 9 a.m. (10 a.m for evening games) until 30 minutes after the end of the game. Box Office hours on non-gamedays are Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (closed on non-game Sundays and holidays).
