Join Us For Play Ball Weekend - June 11

You are invited to the Washington Nationals Play Ball and Summer Reading Event on June 11th.

The Washington Nationals will host this event at Walker Mill Regional Park in partnership with the Prince George's County Memorial Library System and Prince George's County Department of Parks and Recreation.

There will be several baseball and softball activities led by Prince George's County Parks and Recreation as well as a book reading with a Nationals player. Attendees will also be able to sign up for the library's "Summer Prince George's" summer reading program if they are Prince George's County residents.

There is no need for prior baseball/softball experience or equipment. Simply dress comfortably in athletic clothing, bring your water bottle, and come prepared to have a good time.

Check-in begins at 9:00 a.m., with the event starting at 10:00 a.m.

All participants will receive a free bat, ball, and baseball-themed book. Register today using the link below:

Play Ball Activity 10:30 a.m.- 12:00 p.m

Bats, Balls, and Books are provided only for registered participants.

WHAT YOU GET:
Attendees will participate in a book reading with a Nationals player, as well as a number of baseball and softball activities organized by Prince George’s County Parks and Recreation. Attendees will receive a free bat and ball from MLB, as well as a baseball-themed book from Prince George’s County Library.
