National Anthem Auditions

The Washington Nationals are now accepting auditions to perform the National Anthem and "God Bless America" at a 2019 Nationals game!
All soloists, groups, and instrumentalists are invited to audition for a unique opportunity to perform on the field at Nationals Park.

If you would like to be considered to perform the National Anthem at Nationals Park, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Record a demo of your National Anthem performance. Your demo should be no longer than 90 seconds in length. Please ensure the sound is clear and free of static or background noise. The anthem must be performed in its traditional form; customized versions will not be accepted.

Step 2: Submit a video or audio file or email a YouTube link of your demo to Please include the following information in the body of your email:

  • Performer's first & last name or group name
  • Contact phone number
  • Contact email address
  • Direct link to your audition
  • Performance history

The deadline for submissions is May 15, 2019.

National Anthem performance opportunities are extremely limited. All submissions will be reviewed. Due to the high volume of submissions, the Nationals cannot guarantee a response to every submission. If your application is selected, the Nationals will contact you via the information provided in your email.

Groups that purchase at least 250 tickets often get priority to perform the National Anthem. To check on availability for your group to perform the National Anthem, please contact our Group Sales department at 202.675.NATS (6287). Group ticket purchases do not guarantee an opportunity to perform the National Anthem as it is based on availability and audition approval.
