Road Closures and Restrictions
Starting Friday, July 13th the following road closures and restriction will be in place.
Half Street SE from M St SE to N St SE and N Street SE from Van St SE to 100' East of First St SE will be closed to vehicular traffic.
First St SE from M St SE to Potomac Ave SE and Potomac Ave SE from First St SE to South Capitol St will be restricted to vehicles needing to use the local businesses or enter Garage C
Van St SE from M St SE to N St SE will be restricted to the local businesses and vehicles needing to enter Geico Garage
Metro will offer special late-night rail service following the T-Mobile Home Run Derby (Monday, July 16) and the 89th MLB All-Star Game presented by Mastercard (Tuesday, July 17).
Fans attending either event are advised that the last trains will depart Navy Yard Station at 12:22 a.m. in the direction of Greenbelt and 12:48 a.m. in the direction of Branch Avenue OR 30 minutes after the end of the event, whichever is later. In the extra service period, only Navy Yard Station will be available for entry to the Metrorail system. All other stations will be exit only.
UBER and other for Hire Vehicles
DDOT and the Department of For-Hire Vehicles designated passenger drop-off and pick-up areas that are reasonably close to Sports Capital Week events, but away from the most congested areas. See the above map for Uber ride share and taxi locations. For-Hire Vehicle Operation Plan will be deployed Sunday July 15 - Tuesday July 17 to accommodate passenger access for taxis and Transportation Network Companies (TNCs) such as Uber, Lyft, and Via.
