On Friday night at Coors Field, the Dodgers’ Trevor Bauer didn’t give up a hit for six innings. The Rockies tied a club record with four home runs in the seventh.

But what does everyone want to know?

What became of the cat?

A large, gray cat appeared from the Rockies’ side of the backstop, ran along the backstop ledge and dashed onto the field before taking a seat in center field. A member of the Coors Field security team cradled the feline and carried it off the field in hopes of dropping it off outside the park.

But this cat can’t be stopped. It escaped on the service level of Coors Field, evidently deciding it never wanted to go back to the old ball game.
