ST. LOUIS -- Cardinals center fielder Tommy Pham made a nice running catch at the wall to help preserve a tie game against the Royals in the seventh inning of Wednesday's 5-2 loss in 10 innings in the I-70 Series finale.
Jorge Soler powered a ball to center field that had a 48 percent catch probability, according to Statcast™.
The ball nearly came out of Pham's glove when he came in contact with the wall. Had Soler gotten on, it could've been extra bases and a scoring opportunity for Alex Gordon, who singled in the next at-bat.
