Twins announce 9-city Winter Caravan schedule
The Minnesota Twins on Thursday announced the four-state, nine-city schedule for the 64th edition of Twins Winter Caravan – one of professional sports’ longest-running and most extensive fan engagement tours – now proudly presented by Thrivent, a Fortune 500 financial services company that puts generosity at the heart of saving and investing. The 2026 Winter Caravan features Twins players (Mick Abel, Luke Keaschall, Alan Roden and Justin Topa), coaches (manager Derek Shelton and bullpen coach LaTroy Hawkins), alumni (Glen Perkins) and broadcasters (Cory Provus and Kris Atteberry) visiting communities in Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota on Wednesday, January 21 and Thursday, January 22.
The 2026 Twins Winter Caravan presented by Thrivent features two primary groups – each with two current Twins players, a coach or an alumnus, and a club broadcaster – visiting different locales throughout the Upper Midwest. Both days of the respective tours includes a community enrichment activity and traditional “Hot Stove” programming (with question-and-answer, autograph and meet-and-greet sessions) in partnership with the Treasure Island Baseball Network. Fans attending each “Hot Stove” event are encouraged to bring non-perishable food goods that will be donated to a designated local nonprofit.
A third group, with Shelton and club President, Baseball and Business Operations Derek Falvey, will make evening stops in St. Paul and Welch, Minnesota on January 21 and 22, respectively.
Additionally, the Twins will participate in, and provide support for, events on January 21 (Baseball Old Timers Hot Stove League in St. Paul, MN), January 31 (11th annual Justin Morneau Ice Fishing Classic in St. Isle, MN to benefit United Heroes League), February 3 (Second Harvest Heartland’s 17th Annual End Hunger Together Radiothon in Brooklyn Park, MN) and February 11 (Black Woods Blizzard Tour in Carlton, MN to fund the fight against ALS).

Stops:
Wednesday, January 21: Duluth, Minnesota for a public event at Elite Sports Complex with KDAL-AM; and St. Cloud, Minnesota (Kelly Inn Ballroom) for a public Hot Stove event with WJON-AM (benefitting Catholic Charities Food Shelf).
Thursday, January 22: Rochester, Minnesota for a public event as the Twins, Thrivent and KROC-AM/KFIL-FM provide free admission to SPARK – The Children’s Museum of Minnesota, and a private stop at Mayo Eugenio Litta Children’s Hospital for visits with patients and their families; and Northwood, Iowa (The Timbers of Northwood) for a public Hot Stove event with KGLO-AM, KAUS-AM and KATE-AM (benefitting Northwood Community Center).

Attendees: Twins infielder and 2025 MLB First Team All-Rookie honoree Luke Keaschall; Twins outfielder Alan Roden; three-time All-Star closer and current Twins broadcaster Glen Perkins; and Twins radio play-by-play voice Kris Atteberry.

Wednesday, January 21: Mankato, Minnesota (Mankato Motors) for a public event with KTOE-AM; and Sioux Falls, South Dakota (Elmen Center at Augustana University) for a public Hot Stove event with KSOO-AM (benefitting Feeding South Dakota).
Thursday, January 22: Moorhead, Minnesota for a private youth adaptive baseball and softball clinic with Twins X Thrivent At Bat for Impact partner HOPE, Inc.; and Fargo, North Dakota (Sanctuary Events Center) for a public Hot Stove event (benefitting Emergency Food Pantry).

- Stop: Welch, Minnesota for a public Hot Stove Event at Treasure Island Resort and Casino.

- Baseball Old Timers Hot Stove League on Wednesday, January 21. This event at the Midland Hills Country Club in St. Paul, Minnesota will feature Shelton and Falvey; Twins Hall of Famers Jerry Bell (former club president) and Jim Rantz (former farm director); Twins Strategic Advisor and former President & CEO Dave St. Peter; St. Paul Saints President Derek Sharrer; St. Paul Saints Vice President & Broadcaster Sean Aronson; former MLB Umpire Tim Tschida; legendary former University of Minnesota Head Baseball Coach John Anderson; and current Golden Gophers skipper Ty McDevitt.
- 11th Annual Justin Morneau Ice Fishing Classic to benefit United Heroes League (UHL) on Saturday, January 31. This event in St. Isle, Minnesota, led by Twins Hall of Famer and current television analyst Justin Morneau, helps UHL provide sports gear, game tickets, camps and life-changing experiences that keep military kids active, confident and connected. Additionally, the Twins will support UHL with a financial donation of $5,000.
- 17th Annual End Hunger Together Radiothon in partnership with 830 WCCO to benefit Brooklyn Park, Minnesota-based Second Harvest Heartland on Tuesday, February 3. Twins front office volunteers will assist with the radiothon raising funds to end hunger.
- Black Woods Blizzard Tour in partnership with Never Surrender, Inc. on Wednesday, February 11. This four-day event, which begins the evening of February 11 in Carlton, Minnesota, raises funds for ALS research, organizations providing services that empower people living with ALS to be more independent, and financial assistance for full-time family caregivers for those afflicted with ALS. The Twins will present a $5,000 check at the kick-off dinner to support Never Surrender, Inc., while Twins Hall of Famer Kent Hrbek will again lend his support to the event.
