The Washington Nationals recalled catcher Harry Ford from Triple-A Rochester on Friday. Additionally, Washington reinstated right-handed pitcher Max Kranick from the 60-day Injured List and placed catcher Drew Millas on the 10-day Injured list (retroactive to July 12) with a left index finger fracture on Wednesday. Nationals President of Baseball Operations Paul Toboni made the announcements.

Kranick, 28, signed with Washington on May 5 while recovering from right elbow surgery. He appeared in eight rehab outings between Single-A Fredericksburg, Double-A Harrisburg and Triple-A Rochester, striking out 11 batters against two walks in 10.1 innings.

Kranick pitched in 24 games out of New York’s (NL) bullpen in 2025, going 3-2 with a 3.65 ERA, 25 strikeouts, five walks and a 1.05 WHIP.
