LIVE on Peacock: Ohtani, Halos try to cool off O's

Trout (10th All-Star berth in 2022) and Ohtani (second) each have put up their usual strong numbers, though the Angels need to get some traction to get back into position to make the playoffs. Meanwhile, the Orioles are on a seven-game winning streak, fueled by exciting young stars like Adley Rutschman, who thrilled the crowd with his first Camden Yards homer on Thursday.
Play-by-play man Jason Benetti is joined in the booth by Angels analyst Mark Gubicza, a two-time All-Star who won a championship with the Royals, and O's counterpart Ben McDonald, a former No. 1 overall pick and Olympic gold medalist.
NBC Sports’ Ahmed Fareed hosts the MLB Sunday Leadoff pre- and postgame shows each week, and also serves as the in-game reporter. This Sunday, Fareed was joined by MLB Network analyst Cliff Floyd, formerly an All-Star outfielder who won a championship with the Marlins, and Rob Friedman, aka PitchingNinja on Twitter (@PitchingNinja), who provided pregame pitching breakdowns.
MLB Sunday Leadoff on Peacock debuted on May 8, beginning an 18-week schedule of exclusive MLB contests every Sunday morning. Peacock is also the exclusive home of the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game, which will be played during All-Star Week on Sat., July 16, at Dodger Stadium.
The MLB Sunday Leadoff game each week is the only game scheduled until 1:30 p.m. ET, when the rest of the day’s action will begin. The start time for each MLB Sunday Leadoff game is noon ET for the remainder of the games through Sept. 4.
