LHP Noah Schultz (White Sox No. 2 prospect, MLB No. 40)
Injury: Right knee patellar tendinitis
Expected return: 2026
Status: No longer taking part in the Arizona Fall League, as a precautionary measure. General manager Chris Getz said Schultz is progressing well but has not yet thrown off a mound. (Last updated: Nov. 8)
1B Tim Elko
Injury: Torn ACL in right knee
Expected return: June-July 2026
Status: Elko underwent successful surgery to repair the torn ACL on Oct. 28, performed by Dr. Lyle Cain at the Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Center in Birmingham, Ala. His estimated recovery time is eight months, per the team. (Last updated: Oct. 30)
OF Mike Tauchman
Injury: Right knee meniscus tear
Expected return: 2026
Status: Will have surgery Sept. 30 after exacerbating the issue during a diving catch made Sept. 20 against the Padres. It’s expected to be a five-week recovery. (Last updated: Sept. 24)

Injury: Tommy John surgery
Expected return: 2026

Injury: Grade 1 right elbow strain
Expected return: 2026
