Astros announce 2023 Spring Training schedule

HOUSTON, TX - The Houston Astros announced the 2023 Spring Training schedule today, with the opening game set for Saturday, Feb. 25 at home vs. the New York Mets.

The 2023 season will mark the Astros seventh Spring Training at The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches, located in West Palm Beach, Fla. They share the ballpark with the Washington Nationals, with separate training facilities located on opposite sides of the ballpark.

The Astros are scheduled to play 14 Spring Training home games against a variety of popular, Grapefruit League opponents, and one home game vs. a World Baseball Classic opponent (TBA). Houston will play 29 official Spring Training games overall in Florida.

Highlights from the Astros home schedule include three games vs. both the New York Mets (Feb. 25, Mar. 7, Mar. 18) and St. Louis Cardinals (Mar. 11, 14, 26). The home schedule also includes a visit from the Boston Red Sox (Mar. 1) and Atlanta Braves (Mar. 3). Additionally, the Astros home schedule will include several weekend options, with two Friday games, three Saturday games and three Sunday games.

The Astros will also face off against their West Palm Beach neighbors, the Nationals, six times in 2023. The Astros will be the home team for three of those matchups (Mar. 5, Mar. 17, Mar 23).

Additional information on 2023 Astros Spring Training games will be released at a later date.

EXHIBITION GAMES

After leaving Florida, the Astros will play two exhibition games vs. their Triple A affiliate, the Sugar Land Space Cowboys. The first will be on March 27 at Constellation Field and the second will be on March 28 at Minute Park.

SPRING TRAINING TICKET INFORMATION

Ticket information and game times for the 2023 Grapefruit League season and the exhibition games vs. Sugar Land will be available soon. Spring Training Season Tickets, Flex Packs, which allow fans to design their own ticket packages of four games or more, single game tickets, game times and a full 2023 promotional schedule will be announced on later dates. The Box Office will begin accepting reservations for Suites and Party Decks tomorrow (Thursday, September 1) at noon.
