Chicago Cubs to host White Sox, Mets and Braves during 10-game homestand

CHICAGO – The Chicago Cubs return to Wrigley Field to host the Chicago White Sox June 18-19 for the first part of the Wintrust Crosstown Series, the New York Mets June 20-23 and the Atlanta Braves June 24-27.

The Cubs and White Sox in partnership with Wintrust Financial Corporation announced a multiyear sponsorship of the Crosstown Series now officially named the “Wintrust Crosstown Series.” As part of the partnership, the two teams and Wintrust will host pregame festivities ahead of the June 18-19 games with Hall of Famers Harold Baines and Lee Smith. On June 18, fans also are encouraged to stop by Gallagher Way ahead of the first game at 5 p.m. to test their Wintrust Crosstown Series trivia skills against Baines and Smith. Fans who are selected to participate in trivia and get the answer correct will be entered into a random drawing. The winner of the random drawing will win two tickets to all four Wintrust Crosstown Series games with The W Club access for June 18-19 and Goose Island seats for July 6-7, the opportunity to throw the first pitch at the June 18 Cubs-White Sox game, a lineup card exchange experience at the July 6 White Sox-Cubs game and a signed baseball from Baines and Smith. Before the June 19 game, the Wintrust Crosstown Series pregame festivities will include an autograph signing with Smith, a live performance by Nick Bell Band, photo opportunities and more.

On Monday, June 24, fans will cross over to the Upside Down during Stranger Things® Night. Fans who purchase tickets through the Special Ticket Offer will receive a Cubs and Stranger Things® fanny pack. The night also features a performance by ‘80s cover band, The Breakfast Club, at Gallagher Way, a limited one-time only “Eggo Waffle Chips” menu option at the Marquee Grill, exclusive Cubs and Stranger Things® merchandise at the Cubs Store located behind home plate and a “strange” surprise in front of Wrigley Field’s Marquee. Cubs Charities will expand its 50/50 Raffle program starting Tuesday, June 18. Fans will now have two ways of purchasing Cubs Charities 50/50 Raffle tickets – inside the ballpark and online at www.cubs.com/raffle. The winning ticket will receive half of the net proceeds from the game’s raffle ticket sales, and the other half will benefit Cubs Charities. In accordance with state and local law, online Cubs Charities 50/50 Raffle tickets will only be available for purchase in the Chicago city limits. Raffle tickets will be available approximately two hours before the start of each Cubs home game this season. Net proceeds from the 50/50 Raffle will benefit Cubs Charities, which aims to expand baseball and softball opportunities for all Chicago children and youth by engaging kids with skilled coaches and quality programming and providing safe and accessible places to play the game.

The Cubs and 670 The Score will host the first installment of the 2019 On Deck Luncheon Series presented by TimberTech, Xfinity and Budweiser Brickhouse Tavern Tuesday, June 25, from 11:40 a.m.-2 p.m. CDT. The luncheon series gives attendees a chance to interact and enjoy a live broadcast with Cubs outfielder Albert Almora Jr., catcher Willson Contreras and 670 The Score’s Larry Holmes. Hot Doug's returns with its rotating selections on Platform 14, located behind the center field scoreboard in the Budweiser Bleachers. Served this homestand are the Bill Caudill, an Argentinian pork and bacon sausage with chimichurri and Swiss cheese; the Sergio Mitre, a gyro sausage with tzatziki, chopped tomatoes and feta cheese; and the Keith Moreland, a spicy Vienna Beef Polish sausage with chipotle Dijonnaise, pickled jalapeños and pepper jack cheese.
