(March 6, 2026) -- The Cincinnati Reds and WLWT/Hearst Television today announced a new partnership naming WLWT Weather the Official Weather Provider of the Cincinnati Reds.

Through this multi‑year agreement, the WLWT Weather team will work closely with Reds officials to monitor and prepare for any inclement weather that could affect games, ballpark operations or the fan experience at Great American Ball Park, while also providing trusted, local forecasts to Reds fans throughout the season.

“Accurate and timely weather information is critical for our fans and our operations,” said Tim O’Connell, Reds Senior Vice President of Facilities & Operations. “WLWT’s proven track record and commitment to the community make them a natural partner as we work together to enhance safety, communication and the overall game-day experience.”

Known for delivering the Most Accurate forecasts across Greater Cincinnati, WLWT’s team of Chief Meteorologist Kevin Robinson, Randi Rico, Allison Rogers, Adam Burniston and Sabrina Bates will bring that same level of precision to Reds baseball coverage.

“We’re excited to reunite two iconic Cincinnati institutions that have a long and storied history together,” said Branden Frantz, WLWT President and General Manager. “For 15 years in a row, the WLWT Weather team has been independently certified as the Most Accurate forecast in Cincinnati. We’re excited to now provide that level of forecasting expertise to the Reds.”
