Detroit Tigers Announce 2019 Schedule

DETROIT - In conjunction with Major League Baseball, the Detroit Tigers today released their 2019 schedule, featuring 81 home games at Comerica Park, located in the heart of The District Detroit. The Tigers will face their American League Central Division rivals, as well as Interleague home contests against the Pittsburgh Pirates, Washington Nationals, Philadelphia Phillies and Miami Marlins. A charter member of the AL, the 2019 season will mark the Tigers 119th season in Detroit and their 20th season at Comerica Park.
For the sixth time in the last 10 years, the Tigers will open the season on the road with a seven-game road trip, which features four games against Toronto March 28-31 and three games at New York (AL) April 1-3. Following the road trip, the Tigers will open the home portion of their schedule with a six-game homestand with three games vs. AL Central rivals Kansas City Royals from April 4-7 and the Cleveland Indians, April 9-11.
Along with their annual season series against the National League Central's Pittsburgh Pirates, the Tigers will face NL East opponents in Interleague play next season. The Tigers have home Interleague series against the Pittsburgh Pirates (April 16-17), Miami Marlins (May 21-23), the Washington Nationals (June 28-30) and the Philadelphia Phillies (July 23-24). Detroit will play road Interleague series against the Phillies (April 30-May 1), New York Mets (May 24-26), Atlanta Braves (May 31-June 2) and Pirates (June 18-19).
The Tigers will celebrate a pair of summer holidays with their fans at Comerica Park. Detroit wraps up a three-game series against the Cleveland Indians on Father's Day, Sunday, June 16, while the Tigers will conclude a four-game set with the Minnesota Twins on Labor Day, Monday, September 2.
Fans currently have the opportunity to place a deposit on 2019 season ticket plans and receive complimentary lower level tickets for up to four 2018 regular season September home games.
