Those two teams are scheduled to meet twice in Surprise in 2027: the spring opener on Friday, February 19 (Royals home game) and Thursday, March 18 (Rangers home game).
In addition, the Rangers will play the Athletics, Arizona Diamondbacks, Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, Cleveland Guardians, Cincinnati Reds, Colorado Rockies, Los Angeles Angels, Los Angeles Dodgers, Milwaukee Brewers, San Diego Padres, San Francisco Giants, and Seattle Mariners once each in Surprise.
Texas will also make at least one visit to each of the nine other Cactus League facilities, including multiple trips to Camelback Ranch (CWS/LAD), Goodyear Ballpark (CIN/CLE), Peoria Sports Complex (SD/SEA), Salt River Fields at Talking Stick (ARI/COL), and Tempe Diablo Stadium (LAA).
