Dodgers to Host the Phillies in Game 3 of the National League Division Series Tomorrow Night
DODGERS TO HOST THE PHILLIES IN THE NATIONAL LEAGUE DIVISION SERIES
LOS ANGELES – After taking Games 1 and 2 in Philadelphia, the National League Division Series will come to Los Angeles as the Dodgers host the Philadelphia Phillies in Games 3 and 4 (if necessary) beginning tomorrow, October 8 at 6:08 p.m. PT. Tickets remain available for both games at Dodgers.com/postseason. Fans are also encouraged to check the Postseason ticket inventory available on the Dodgers trusted secondary market partner, SeatGeek.
Philadelphia took four of six regular-season games against the Boys in Blue this season, winning both series. This series marks the sixth time the Dodgers have faced the Phillies in the Postseason, and first since the 2009 NLCS where the Phils took the series four games to one.
Dodger legend, World Series Champion and 1978 NLCS MVP vs. the Phillies Steve Garvey will deliver the ceremonial first pitch, and Lauren Evans will sing the National Anthem prior to Game 3. Game 4, if necessary, will have Dodger legend Manny Mota, who led the Dodgers comeback against the Phillies in Game 3 of the 1977 NLCS, on hand to throw out the ceremonial first pitch, and Mike Phillips will perform the National Anthem on the saxophone. Both games will feature pre-game performances throughout the park from different DJs and musical groups.
This postseason, the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) will continue its stadium fundraising opportunities to help fans give back while celebrating their team. Fans can support LADF by purchasing a 50/50 raffle ticket from sellers in pink aprons, shopping exclusive merchandise and memorabilia at the LADF Homebase Store, bidding on autographed items at Dodgers.com/Auctions, or purchasing personalized ribbon board messages at Dodgers.com/RibbonBoards. In Centerfield Plaza, fans can create their own custom collectible Dodgers baseball trading card - available only at Dodger Stadium.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early, with auto gates opening three hours prior to first pitch at 3:08 p.m. for Game 3 and 12:08 for Game 4. Stadium gates will open two and a half hours before first pitch at 3:38 p.m. for Game 3 and 12:38 for Game 4.
