Detroit SportsNet (DSN) today confirmed distribution agreements with major cable and satellite providers across Michigan, ensuring nearly all fans can watch Tigers Opening Day on the same providers and packages they’ve relied on in past seasons. The agreements, which were finalized overnight, officially usher in DSN as the new broadcast home of the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Red Wings.

DSN is now available through Comcast/Xfinity, DirecTV, Charter/Spectrum, Fubo and other major providers that carried locally available Tigers games in prior seasons. Fans can find their specific channel number and confirm availability in their area by visiting Tigers.com/watch.

Those who prefer to stream games can subscribe directly at Tigers.com/DetroitSportsNet or DetroitRedWings.com/DetroitSportsNet.

DSN is also pleased to announce that bet365, one of the world’s leading online sports betting and gaming companies, has joined as the presenting partner of Detroit SportsNet.

“After years of planning, we look forward to being on air later today with our first Detroit SportsNet broadcast,” said Ryan Gustafson, President and CEO of Ilitch Sports + Entertainment. “Whether tuning in on television or streaming, we’re proud to accomplish our biggest goal of having Tigers and Red Wings games readily available to fans throughout our market. We’re also excited to welcome bet365 as the presenting partner of Detroit SportsNet, as they start operating in Michigan next month.”

The partnership will be additive to the viewer experience in thoughtful ways. Fans can expect to see a branded presence throughout telecasts, along with live odds integrations within the broadcast -- providing the right information at the right time for those who engage with the sports betting landscape.

The network’s official name will now be Detroit SportsNet, presented by bet365.

“As we continue expanding across North America, Michigan represents an important next step for bet365,” said Trip Stoddard, Head of Development at bet365. "Partnering with Ilitch Sports + Entertainment and Detroit SportsNet allows us to enter the market in a way that feels authentic -- integrating directly into the broadcast experience and how fans already engage with their teams. We’re focused on enhancing those moments with a seamless, fan-first betting experience.”

Detroit SportsNet serves as the year-round in-market television home for Tigers games beginning in 2026, and for Red Wings games beginning with the 2026-27 NHL season.

Fans won’t need to change how they watch the remainder of this exciting 2025-26 Red Wings season. Details for how to tune in for next season will be shared leading into Red Wings Opening Night this fall.

DSN’s first-ever telecast comes later today from Petco Park in San Diego, where the Tigers open their season. Pregame coverage begins at 3:30 p.m. ET/12:30 p.m. PT, with first pitch scheduled for 4:10 p.m. ET/1:10 p.m. PT. Dan Dickerson will call the game alongside analyst Dan Petry and reporter Daniella Bruce, with Andy Dirks contributing to pre- and post-game coverage. After being away on assignment with NBC for Opening Day, Jason Benetti makes his DSN debut on Friday evening.
