Giants place Longoria on disabled list

The Giants made the following roster moves prior to Friday's game:  
IF Evan Longoria was placed on the 10-day disabled list with a left hand fracture (fifth metacarpal).
RHP Pierce Johnson (#58) was recalled from Triple-A Sacramento.
·       Has made two appearances for the River Cats, posting a 2.70 ERA (1er, 3.1ip) with five strikeouts.
·       Has pitched in 23 games for the Giants this season, going 3-2 with a 5.83 ERA (19er, 29.1ip).
·       Pitched well in his first 13 games of the season with SF, allowing four runs in 16.0ip (2.25 ERA), but struggled in his last 10 appearances, posting a 10.13 ERA (15er, 13.1ip)
