Indians Recall RHP Shawn Armstrong; OF Austin Jackson Placed on DL

The Cleveland Indians today announced the following roster moves relative to the 2017 Major League roster:
Recalled RHP SHAWN ARMSTRONG from Triple-A Columbus.
Placed OF AUSTIN JACKSON (left great toe hyperextension) on the 10-day Disabled List.
Armstrong, 26, began the season on the Major League roster prior to his April 14 option to Columbus, where he has since made four relief appearances (5.1IP, 3H, 3R/ER, 2BB, 8SO, .158 avg). Jackson was injured running the bases last night in Detroit during the 9th inning and is beginning his fifth career trip on the D.L.
