MEDIA ADVISORY - 2025 Yankees Credential Application for Wild Card Series and Division Series

SEPTEMBER 24, 2025

—MEDIA ADVISORY—

CREDENTIAL APPLICATIONS FOR POTENTIAL AMERICAN LEAGUE WILD CARD SERIES AND

DIVISION SERIES GAMES AT YANKEE STADIUM MAY BE SUBMITTED ONLINE BEGINNING TODAY

Media credential applications for potential American League Wild Card Series or Division Series games at Yankee Stadium are available online beginning today on the New York Yankees page at credentials.mlb.com. Please note that there are separate and required applications for both aforementioned rounds.

All applications for the American League Wild Card Series must be completed by a Sports Assignment Editor and submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, September 27. All applications for Division Series games must be completed by a Sports Assignment Editor and submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, October 1. The online application is the ONLY acceptable method for requesting credentials for potential Wild Card Series or Division Series games at Yankee Stadium.

For potential American League Wild Card Series games at Yankee Stadium: Media will be permitted to use 2025 regular season BBWAA credentials, MLB-issued credentials and already-issued Yankees full regular season credentials. MLB-issued 2025 Postseason credentials will also be accepted for Wild Card Series games at Yankee Stadium. Sports Assignment Editors must apply for anyone else needing a daily credential by using the process described in this advisory. Those using previously issued credentials are asked to email Yankees Media Relations to request a press box seat. All seating requests should be sent to Parker Lougée at plougee@yankees.com.

For potential American League Division Series games at Yankee Stadium: Media access for ALDS games at Yankee Stadium will be provided ONLY with newly issued credentials obtained through the process described in this advisory or MLB-issued universal postseason credentials. Regular season BBWAA cards will not be valid for the ALDS or subsequent rounds. When planning coverage at other ballparks, please note that media credentials issued by the Yankees are only accepted at Yankee Stadium. However, credentials issued by Major League Baseball are accepted at all ballparks.

If your affiliation would like to cover both potential postseason rounds described above (ALWCS and ALDS), you must submit two different credential requests. Applying for the Wild Card Series does NOT carry over to the Division Series.

Sports Assignment Editors: Editors should e-mail Parker Lougée at (plougee@yankees.com) in the Yankees Media Relations Department with press seating requests no later than Saturday, September 27 for the American League Wild Card Series and no later than Wednesday, October 1 for the Division Series.

Editors must also apply for credentials with all possible opponents if your outlet plans to cover the Yankees on the road for any potential Wild Card Series or Division Series games. Yankees-issued postseason credentials are valid ONLY at Yankee Stadium.

Media outlets requesting credentials are required to be registered on the MLB credential website before initiating the online process. Individuals who have previously applied on behalf of their media outlet to cover a Major League Baseball jewel event (such as the All-Star Game or any postseason series) will have a registered profile. All media outlets that have not previously applied online for media credentials through Major League Baseball or the New York Yankees must contact the New York Yankees Media Relations Department at credentials@yankees.com to register their affiliation.

Media credential applications for the League Championship Series and World Series are available only through credentials.mlb.com and are handled by Major League Baseball. For more information regarding League Championship Series or World Series credentials, please contact the MLB Public Relations Department at (212) 931-7878 or e-mail credentials@mlb.com.

All media will receive an e-mail confirmation regarding their Wild Card Series credential status no later than Sunday, September 28 (if necessary) and an e-mail confirmation regarding their Division Series credential status no later than Thursday, October 2.
