Nolan Arenado wins fourth consecutive Gold Glove Award

DENVER - Colorado Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado has been named the winner of the 2016 Rawlings Gold Glove Award for National League third basemen. This is Arenado's fourth consecutive Gold Glove Award, and he becomes the first player in Rockies franchise history to win four consecutive Gold Gloves, surpassing Larry Walker's previous record of three straight (1997-1999). The four Gold Gloves for Arenado are the second-most in franchise history behind Walker's five.
Arenado led all National League third basemen in total chances (490), assists (378) double plays (39), range factor per game (2.98), defensive runs saved (20) and defensive WAR (2.3) while ranking second in fielding percentage (.973) and zone rating (.824).
