Oakland A's to provide educators free tickets to July 31 game

OAKLAND, Calif. - School is out for the summer, and the A's want to celebrate teachers and all they do for our community. As a thank you for their dedication to educating our youth, the Oakland A's will host Teacher Appreciation Night on Tuesday, July 31. Teachers can attend a pregame Education Fair and sign up to receive two free tickets for the 7:05 p.m. game versus the Toronto Blue Jays.
Prior to the game, the Oakland A's Community Fund will host a free Education Fair from 4:30 to 7 p.m. in the Eastside Club. Teachers can learn about the A's educational programs, including Home Run Readers and Summer Slugger, and visit booths from educational community partners, including Chevron's STEM program and Positive Coaching Alliance.
Fans who want to support Bay Area education can purchase discounted tickets, and 25 percent of the ticket price will be donated to local school districts.
Parking for Teacher Appreciation Night will be free as part of Chevy Free Parking Tuesday.
Teachers can request their complimentary tickets using their work email address. Teachers can RSVP for the Education Fair when they register for their tickets. For more information, visit athletics.com/teacher.
