Pirates claim LHP Enny Romero

The Pirates have claimed LHP Enny Romero off waivers from the Washington Nationals.
Romero has been added to the 40-man roster and will report to the Pirates within the next 72 hours. A corresponding 25 man roster move will be made once Romero reports to the major league club.
The 27-year old Romero began the 2018 season with Washington and made two relief appearances before being designated for assignment on April 7.
In 53 games with the Nationals last season, he posted a 3.56 ERA (55.2ip/22er) and 65 strikeouts.
Romero began his Major League career with Tampa Bay in 2013 and has appeared in 131 games in the big leagues.
