Astros return home Monday, June 6 to host Mariners and Marlins
HOUSTON, Texas – The Houston Astros return home for a six-game homestand beginning Monday, June 6. The Astros will host the Seattle Mariners, June 6-8 and the Miami Marlins, June 10-12.
Highlights of the homestand include a Lance McCullers AL Championship Replica Ring, Dollar Dog Night, Flashback Friday and a Kyle Tucker Stretch Bobblehead.
Monday, June 6 – Astros vs. Seattle Mariners: 7:10 p.m. CT
The Astros return home to Minute Maid Park just in time for a Space City Monday. The team will wear their Nike City Connect Space City uniforms, there will be special NASA activations around the ballpark and the head coach for the University of Houston men’s basketball team, Kelvin Sampson, will throw out an honorary first pitch. All fans in attendance will receive a Lance McCullers AL Championship Replica Ring, presented by Gallery Furniture. One fan in attendance at the game will receive a personalized ALCS Elite Fan ring, with real diamonds and 10k white gold.
The Astros will recognize Lou Gehrig Day, bringing awareness to ALS prior to the game, with a special pregame ceremony from Houston Methodist highlighting Dr. Stanley Appel, recognized as one of the top doctors in the ALS field. The ALS Association of Texas will also be a part of the program, including a pregame honorary first pitch, play ball call and Chevy Base Stealer.
A portion of the proceeds from Monday evening’s 50/50 raffle will go to the ALS Association of Texas.
Tuesday, June 7 – Astros vs. Seattle Mariners: 7:10 p.m. CTThe Astros continue the series with the Mariners on Tuesday, which is Dollar Dog Night presented by Texas Chili Company. Fans are treated to unlimited hot dogs that are one dollar apiece all game long.
A special honorary first pitch will be thrown by Miss Texas 2021, Victoria Hinojosa.
A portion of the proceeds from Tuesday’s 50/50 raffle will go to Bread of Life, Inc. The organization focuses on supporting underserved communities and restoring hope in Houston.
Wednesday, June 8 – Astros vs. Seattle Mariners: 7:10 p.m. CTThe Astros wrap up three-game series with the Mariners on Wednesday at 7:10 p.m. CT.
Christian Wood of the Houston Rockets will throw out an honorary first pitch.
Half of the proceeds from Wednesday’s 50/50 raffle will go to BreakThrough, which is an organization that places motivated students from underserved areas on the path to college.
Friday, June 10 – Astros vs. Miami Marlins: 7:10 p.m. CTThe Astros open a three-game series vs. the Marlins on Friday, June 10 at 7:10 p.m. CT with a Flashback Friday, celebrating the decade of the 1980s.
10,000 fans will receive a Framber Valdez 1980s Throwback Rainbow Shoulder Jersey, presented by Ricos.
Friday Night Fireworks presented by ConocoPhillips are set for postgame, featuring hit music from the 1980s. Friday Night Fireworks are subject to weather. In the event a show must be cancelled due to weather, refunds will not be granted.
Pregame Happy Hour presented by Budweiser will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Michelob Ultra Bar. Fans can enjoy $5 Ultra Draft, a live D.J. and amazing views.
The Astros will celebrate MLB's Play Ball Weekend all weekend long at the ballpark to celebrate the game and encourage kids to play ball. The Play Ball event will take place at the Astros Youth Academy with the Academy's Summer Camp from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Also at the Academy on Friday, 10 Boys and Girls Clubs from around the Greater Houston area will participate in Play Ball baseball and softball clinics from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Saturday, June 11 – Astros vs. Miami Marlins: 3:10 p.m. CTThe Astros continue the series with the Marlins on Saturday at 3:10 p.m. CT.

John McClain, long-time sports journalist for the Houston Chronicle, who retired in March of 22 after a 47-year career will also throw out a ceremonial first pitch.
The Astros will continue to celebrate Play Ball Weekend at Minute Maid Park on Saturday by featuring youth baseball and softball leagues before and during games.
A portion of the proceeds from Saturday’s 50/50 raffle will go towards the American Cancer Society.
Sunday, June 12 – Astros vs. Miami Marlins: 1:10 p.m. CTThe Astros finish up the six-game homestand and three-game series with the Marlins on Sunday at 1:10 p.m. CT.
10,000 children ages 12 and under receive Kids Dusty Wristbands, presented by Chick-fil-A Houston.
The Astros will celebrate Women's Veterans Day and the U.S. Army's birthday on Sunday with pregame ceremonies, honorary first pitch and more.
The Astros will continue to celebrate Play Ball Weekend at Minute Maid Park on Sunday by featuring youth baseball and softball leagues before and during games.
Kid’s Run the Bases, presented by Olshan Foundation Solutions, will occur for all kids in attendance ages 5-12 after the game.
