Blue Jays increase ballpark capacity for final six home games with tickets starting at $15
With just six home games remaining for the Blue Jays to clinch a postseason berth, we need fan support more than ever to create the infamous Toronto loud home field advantage.
The club announces today that provincial approval has been granted to increase Rogers Centre spectator capacity to 30,000 for the final regular season homestand (September 28 to October 3) and potential postseason games. The Blue Jays are reopening the 500L, with tickets starting at $15 at bluejays.com/tickets. Standard seating and physically distanced options are available while supplies last.
Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination is now required for all fans aged 12 and older entering Rogers Centre (children turning 12 between August 1 and December 31, 2021 are only required to show one vaccine dose when accompanied by a fully vaccinated adult). A negative COVID-19 test will no longer be accepted except for individuals with a doctor’s note indicating they cannot receive the vaccine due to medical exemptions.
The team is battling with the New York Yankees for a Wild Card spot, headed into a three-game home series from September 28 to 30. After sweeping their last four-game series in the Bronx, let’s get Toronto loud to help the Blue Jays punch that postseason ticket! Tickets are available now at bluejays.com/tickets.
