Brewers announce 2023 Player Development staff

MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Brewers today announced their player development staff for the 2023 season, including Minor League managers and coaches for their seven affiliates.

After 16 seasons as field coordinator, Charlie Greene has been promoted to assistant director of player development. In addition to his new role, he will continue to serve as the roving catching instructor for a 19th consecutive season.

Spencer Allen takes over as field coordinator after joining the organization in 2022 as assistant field coordinator. In addition to managing the rookie Arizona Brewers, Rafael Neda will serve as assistant field coordinator.

Nick Childs enters his first season as pitching coordinator after spending the past three seasons as a pitching coach in the organization, including the past two at Double-A Biloxi (2021-22). Matt Erickson returns to player development for 2023 as a roving infield instructor after spending last season on the Major League coaching staff.

Former Brewers right-handed pitcher Josh Lindblom joins the staff as an assistant in player development following his retirement as a player in January.
