Brewers Named 2025 Baseball America Organization of the Year

MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Brewers earned a pair of awards from Baseball America with the club being named the publication’s 2025 Organization of the Year and Pat Murphy earning Major League Manager of the Year.

The Organization of the Year honor is the top award given by Baseball America and recognizes an organization for success at the Major League level as well as in scouting, coaching and other aspects of player development. The Brewers have now won the award a Major League-best five times (1985-87, 2018, 2025).

The Brewers set a franchise record with 97 wins in 2025 and posted the best record in baseball (97-65) as the team qualified for the postseason for the seventh time in the last eight seasons and won the National League Central division for the third consecutive season.

In addition to the organization’s success at the Major League level, the Brewers were ranked as having the top farm system in baseball by Baseball America in its 2025 midseason rankings released in August. Milwaukee currently has five Top 100 prospects in the publication’s rankings in infielders Jesús Made (No. 3 overall), Luis Peña (No. 15) and Cooper Pratt (No. 44), catcher Jeferson Quero (No. 66) and right-handed pitcher Logan Henderson (No. 93).

Murphy, who turned 67 on November 28, was named the 20th manager in franchise history on November 15, 2023, replacing Counsell. He spent eight seasons (2016-23) as bench coach with the Brewers before he was named manager.
