Chicago White Sox Charities and NBC Sports Chicago promote Charities Day telethon event on July 21
CHICAGO – Chicago White Sox Charities (CWSC) and NBC Sports Chicago today announced a first-ever Charities Day event held simultaneous to the White Sox game against Minnesota at 7:10 p.m. CT on Wednesday, July 21.
The inaugural telethon-style fundraising event invites fans to give back to CWSC and help continue supporting those most in need throughout Chicagoland and beyond.
Beginning at 7 p.m. and running through the duration of the game, fans have the opportunity to call a live phone bank at Guaranteed Rate Field at 312-674-5684 to pledge a donation of any amount. Special guests are scheduled to take calls, including family members of White Sox players and coaches, Volunteer Corps members, and others.
Additionally, fans who make the following donations will receive exclusive White Sox memorabilia and limited-edition promotional items:
- $25 donation: Limited-edition White Sox Charities T-Shirt
- $60 donation: Mystery autographed baseball from a fan-favorite White Sox star, while supplies last
- $150 donation: White Sox-branded cooler bag packed with a mystery autographed baseball, ticket vouchers to select White Sox home games, a wireless speaker, water bottle, bobblehead and more, while supplies last.
In celebration of Charities Day, NBC Sports Chicago will highlight the significant impact of CWSC throughout the broadcast with videos and interviews with CWSC community partners and supporters.
