Corrine Georges, Pilot Brewer at J. Leinenkugel's Barrel Yard named to Milwaukee Business Journal 40 Under 40
MILWAUKEE – Corrine Georges, Pilot Brewer at J. Leinenkugel’s Barrel Yard at American Family Field, has been named to the Milwaukee Business Journal 40 Under 40. The restaurant and brewery overlooking left field at the ballpark opened at the start of the 2023 season with Georges at the helm, creating rotating unique brews available only onsite at American Family Field.
The Milwaukee Business Journal 40 Under 40 honor recognizes those who represent the future of community leadership in southeastern Wisconsin. Milwaukee Business Journal reporters and editors review hundreds of nominations to identify those who demonstrate outstanding professional achievement and have become leaders in their communities.
“I’m grateful to be selected for the Milwaukee Business Journal 40 Under 40 class,” said Georges. “What an honor it is to serve as the Pilot Brewer at the Barrel Yard where I have the opportunity to continue in growing my skill set and create new recipes for the fans and community at American Family Field. I’m looking forward to beginning my second season and brewing more unique flavors in the upcoming year.”
Georges enters her second season as the sole Pilot Brewer at J. Leinenkugel’s Barrel Yard at American Family Field, brewing pilot beers on-site while introducing unique ingredients and new recipes to beer and baseball fans alike. Throughout the 2023 season, Corrine introduced 18 new beers, including the first player collaboration beer at the Barrel Yard – Airbender Ale with two-time National League Reliever of the Year, Devin Williams. She brewed up specialty beers for Brewers major moments such as the 2023 National League Division and Playoff Clinch introducing the Popcorn Pennant Chaser, inspired by caramel coated popcorn and peanuts.
Georges will be honored by the Milwaukee Business Journal in an awards ceremony in March.
