The Arizona Diamondbacks made the following roster moves:

Selected LHP Andrew Saalfrank [sahl-FRANK] (No. 57) from Triple-A Reno. MiLB Bio

B/T: L/L │6-3, 205 │Age: 26 (Aug. 18, 1997) in Fort Wayne, Ind.

Is his first Major League call-up.
Appeared in 44 games this season between Reno and Double-A Amarillo, going 8-2 with 2 saves, a 2.53 ERA (18 ER in 64.0 IP), 35 walks allowed and 93 strikeouts.
Has held opponents to a .196 average (45-for-230).
In August, over 11 appearances, is 3-1 with a 0.00 ERA (1 R/0 ER in 14.1 IP), 5 walks, 23 strikeouts, a 0.77 WHIP and .125 opponent average.
Selected by the D-backs in the sixth round in the 2019 draft out of Indiana University.

Recalled OF Dominic Fletcher and placed on the 60-day injured list (fractured left index finger).

Optioned RHP Slade Cecconi to Reno following yesterday’s game.

The D-backs’ 40-man roster is at 40.
