Free one-shot COVID-19 Vaccinations to be offered by Penn Medicine for fans attending Phillies-Braves Games, June 8-10, at Citizens Bank Park

The Phillies and Penn Medicine are teaming up to host a COVID-19 Vaccination Awareness Day & Clinic during the upcoming series against the Atlanta Braves, June 8-10, at Citizens Bank Park.

Fans must be at least 18 years of age and older to be eligible to receive the free one-shot Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine. For health and security reasons, vaccines will only be available to ticketed guests and ballpark employees. No registration is required.

Healthcare providers from Penn Medicine will administer the vaccine, as well as be on site to provide fans with information and answer questions about the COVID-19 vaccine.

“This is a great opportunity for our fans to get vaccinated if they haven’t already,” said David Buck, Phillies Executive Vice President. “We would like to thank Penn Medicine for stepping up to the plate and providing this invaluable and free service.”

“Continuing to increase vaccination rates in our communities requires dedication and ingenuity. Partners like the Phillies help us reach more people in more creative locations, where we can not only administer vaccine but also discuss how vital vaccination is to beating COVID-19,” said PJ Brennan, Chief Medical Officer, University of Pennsylvania Health System. “Every shot makes a difference.”

The Phillies COVID-19 Awareness Day & Vaccination Clinic in partnership with Penn Medicine will be located on the Suite Patio (adjacent to the Boardwalk Eats concessions area in the Left Field Plaza) and available as soon as gates open until 9:00 p.m. on June 8-9, and 3:00 p.m. on June 10.

Those who receive their vaccines at the ballpark will also be given two free tickets to a future Phillies game, with game date selection from the Miami Marlins (June 29-July 1) or San Diego Padres (July 2-4) series at Citizens Bank Park. Participants will also receive a concession credit for a free hot dog and soda, as well as Phillies giveaway.

The vaccination clinic is held in conjunction with “Let’s Vax Up Philly,” an effort spearheaded by the City of Philadelphia. For more information, please visit Phillies.com/vaccinate.
