New contactless protocols to speed entry to T-Mobile Park to keep fans safe

The Seattle Mariners have updated and improved protocols to help fans get into T-Mobile Park quicker and easier on game days and minimize fan-to-staff cross-contamination points.

Fans can watch a short video at Mariners.com/Safety to help navigate the changes which are designed to provide a safe game day experience during the response to COVID-19.

Expedited Entry

New walkthrough metal detectors have been installed at all gates that do not require fans to remove mobile phones and car keys from pockets. The units have 60 sensors that can be programmed to ignore personal effects, which results in quicker entry and less time spent standing in lines.

COVID Entry Restrictions

To keep lines moving quickly, reduce time spent in socially distanced lines and minimize fan-to-staff cross-contamination points, the following restrictions are in place until further notice:

Digital Tickets

All tickets for the 2021 season are digital through the MLB Ballpark app or Ticketmaster app which are both free to download at Google Play and the Apple App Store. Fans will scan their own tickets on their mobile devices at pedestals located at ballpark gates. Health & Safety Measures

Since T-Mobile Park closed to fans prior to the start of the 2020 season, the Mariners have revamped operations to meet or exceed industry standards in response to COVID-19. Science-based health and safety protocols have been guided by input from public health and medical experts including CDC, DHHS, the World Health Organization as well as University of Washington Health Metrics & Evaluation and Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, the Seattle Mariners “Partners in Health.” Enhanced cleaning protocols use the latest technology and disinfection products that are certified to target suspected or known presence of COVID-19.

The Mariners have received Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) STAR™ Facility certification for T-Mobile Park, a performance-based outbreak prevention, response and recovery accreditation for mitigating risks associated with the virus responsible for COVID-19.
