Public registration for ticket lottery to MLB at Field of Dreams presented by Geico opens on Friday, exclusive to Iowa residents
A public registration for access to tickets to the Thursday, August 12th MLB at Field of Dreams Presented by GEICO game between the Chicago White Sox and the New York Yankees will be available exclusively to residents of Iowa from Friday, July 16th through Friday, July 23rd, Major League Baseball announced today. Registration for the lottery will be limited to fans who have Iowa zip codes. On Monday, August 2nd, winners of the lottery will be notified and will then have the opportunity to purchase up to two tickets and one parking pass for the special game.
MLB at Field of Dreams will be a national FOX Sports broadcast and will mark the first Major League game ever held in the State of Iowa. MLB built a ballpark adjacent to the movie site, with a potential capacity of up to 8,000 fans at the fan-favorite tourist destination.
