Rays host Guardians, Blue Jays in five-game homestand

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.—The Tampa Bay Rays return to Tropicana Field tomorrow for a two-team, five-game homestand against the Cleveland Guardians (July 29-31) and Toronto Blue Jays (August 2-3). The 2022 Rays season is presented by Bayfront Health St. Petersburg.

Friday, July 29 vs. Cleveland Guardians

• First Pitch: 7:10 p.m.
• Gates Open: 5:40 p.m.
• National Anthem: Will be performed by Erica Scaglione.
• Ceremonial First Pitch: Zac Blobner, on-air host and executive producer from the “Ronnie & TKras” show, hosted on WDAE 95.3 FM/620 AM, and former chairman of the Tampa Bay Times and Times Publishing Company Paul Tash.
• Partnership Recognition: The Rays Baseball Foundation will recognize its partnership with Community Tampa Bay and present them with a $20,000 grant.

Saturday, July 30 vs. Cleveland Guardians

• First Pitch: 1:10 p.m.
• Gates Open: 11:40 a.m.
• National Anthem: Will be performed by Jenny Dean.
• Ceremonial First Pitch: KJ Jones.
• Promotion: Brett Phillips Devil Rays Basketball Jersey presented by Crown Automotive Group. Available to all fans while supplies last.
• Brett Phillips Autograph Session: Phillips will sign autographs for all fans for up to one hour postgame outside Tropicana Field at Gate 6.
• Devil Rays Day: The Rays will wear their Nike white alternative throwback Devil Rays jerseys and navy blue New Era retro caps. This will be the third of five dates the Rays wear the throwback jerseys and caps.
• Shark Week Day: Fans can purchase a special Shark Week Day ticket that includes a seat in the Lower Level or 200 Level sections and a limited edition Shark Week Beach Bag. Fans can show their digital ticket at the Redemption Center located behind section 108 to collect their beach bag through the 5th inning of the game. • 7th Inning Stretch: Will be performed by a group in honor of Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.
• Promotion: Brandon Lowe Cereal Bowl and Cup Set presented by Tropicana. Available to all fans 14 years and under while supplies last.
• Rays Rookies Ticket Special: Members of the Rays Rookies Kids Club, presented by HI-CHEW, can receive 50 percent off tickets in the Lower Reserved and Rays Party Deck sections using the offer code sent to members via email. A maximum of six (6) tickets per account per date can be purchased.

• Tuesday’s Champion: Before every Tuesday home game, the Rays recognize a child from the Make-A-Wish Foundation or the Children’s Dream Fund as a part of the “Tuesday’s Champion” program, presented by RIPA & Associates. The Rays will recognize 15-year-old Kosta Booras from the Children’s Dream Fund with a ceremonial first pitch.
• Salute to Service: Active-duty and retired military members, as well as first responders and teachers, can receive two (2) complimentary tickets.
